The reason we need to buy Josie's teacher massive amounts of Advil......

Yesterday was Josie's Christmas party at preschool.   I decided to be a good mom and curl her hair.

We did it twice.  The first time, I forgot the spray.  :(

Here is the end result after a half an hour in rollers.

This lasted all of 20 minutes.    She has really fine hair. :(

Off to the party we went.  We read "Mortimer's Christmas Manger" and did a Nativity craft.  She also got to decorate some gingerbread cookies!

Andy came to join the festivities in his new christmas pajamas.  He wasn't super thrilled to be there, but was a good sport about it.  For a baby.

Josie helped set up snack time - cupcakes and caprisun

I am glad there is only one christmas party a year .   She and the other kids in her class had a great time.  (Yes, she is the only girl in a class full of boys.)

In other news, I have been working on some projects that can not be posted here (they are gifts) but I will post pictures for my sake after christmas.

A few quotes from this past week or so:

"I LOVE corn-tons."  (croutons and corn bread combination)

"When you get married, you get born a child."

"Hey there Andy - You are looking like a man!"

"I am so excited for Christmas mom!  Do you think Mary is excited?"
"Mary who?"
"you know, Mary from Jesus and Mary and Joseph and angels and the star?"
:)

I love that kid and can't wait to see what her brother comes up with as he grows up.  :)
