my little helper...

I have a helper in most things that I do.  Her name is Josie.  She helps me cook, clean, play with princesses, sew(she likes to sit next to me and play with scrap fabric and pick out thread colors to match while I am at my machine), run errands, go to work (sometimes),  and take pictures.

Today, we got to take some photos of Nate's friend and his little family for Christmas.  Before they arrived at the park, Josie and I walked all over (in the rain) looking for good picture spots.  It was cold, rainy and we just wanted to sit in the car.   She had a good fake cough going and said "mom, I think I'm getting the sickness."

HAH!

The family arrived and we took some photos.  They brought their very energetic dog with them who ended up not really being in any of the pictures.  Josie's job (once we realized that it was pointless to even try to keep the dog in the pictures) was to walk/chase/be dragged around by the dog.  She did it!!!!  Now she wants a big dog like the one she 'exercised' today at the park.

So, my little helper was my photo dummy to get the right light, and a wonderful canine distractor while I was taking pictures.   She is a good kid and I love her.

Even when she looks utterly and completely bored with what I am doing.   :)
